The best candidates are self-motivated, outgoing, courteous, and physically able with strong work ethic, great organizational skills, written & oral communication skills, and a desire to continuously educate and improve themselves. These skills will allow the candidate to satisfactorily complete non-routine and routine field work as well as generate sales leads that turn into bonus commissions. The best candidates will live within a short commute of Salisbury and have a fair knowledge of Rowan and surrounding counties.
A pest management professional will coordinate work with fellow staff members and customers in controlling/preventing termite and pest problems indoors, outdoors, in attics, and underneath residential and commercial structures on a daily basis. This position requires ~40hrs/wk from ~8am-5pm but may also be responsible for time beyond these parameters for overtime and management meetings with prior notice.
We only interview and employ the best candidates who demonstrate the ability to work independently, proactively, and accountably.
Criminal, driving, and drug background will be screened.
Experience is not required, but experienced applicants are certainly welcomed. We have a rigorous training process that allows us to send only the best representatives to client accounts.
Technology skills will be helpful in learning to use company provided mobile devices to complete workorders.
Trainees start at $13.00/hr through a 90 day probationary period where performance is reviewed leading to salary increases for satisfactory work.
Within the first year of employment, field staff can expect at least $15/hr by providing excellent service, generating sales leads, and passing National and State Regulatory Certification Exams.
Benefits include paid holidays, paid time off, health insurance plan, retirement account contributions, and use of company vehicle to commute to and from work after training/probationary period.
Those with experience may commence employment at higher wage pending time in industry, skills, and credentials.
All staff members are eligible for bonus commissions on sales leads in addition to their base pay.
